Denial take down FolloweSports in the grand final of Season 20 of ESEA Premier in North America (16-10 on de_cbble and 16-5 on de_overpass).
The grand final of ESEA Premier's twentieth season in North America brought together Denial, a team previously known as Trifecta, and FolloweSports.com, a team which included luminaries such as Peter "ptr" Gurney and the recently much-hyped Jake "Stewie2K" Yip.
Both teams went into the grand final knowing that a win of the season does not mean automatic promotion to the ESL ESEA Pro League, as new rule changes by ESL and ESEA in November seem to suggest a wildcard team may be invited instead.

With FolloweSports having finished the season 15-1 and Denial 12-4, it was perhaps expected by many that the hotshot former team would snatch victory in the series.
However, Denial played blitzkrieg Counter-Strike and soundly defeated FolloweSports.com on both de_cbble (where Denial stood at an early deficit before bouncing back) with a score of 16-10 and de_overpass with an even more sound 16-5 score.

Although it is highly likely a wildcard team may snag the open Pro League spot from the second season's bottom place finisher (Coast), both Denial and FolloweSports.com will still play the 10th and 11th ranked Pro League teams (Method and Winterfox, respectively) for a spot in the league.
